Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
Two documents on one page. The privacy policy explains what we collect and why. The terms of service set the rules for using our websites.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Who we are
Kade ("we", "us" or "our") runs kadeai.net and every page under it, including kadeai.net/restaurants and kadeai.net/plumbing (together, the "Sites"). This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information through the Sites and when we deal with you as a prospective or current client. Questions go to team@kadeai.net.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, book a call, or become a client, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, role, and anything you write to us. Calls are booked through Calendly, which collects the details you enter on its form and passes them to us.
Live demos. The demos on our Sites are run by a third-party provider. If you allow microphone access and speak to a demo, your voice and what you say are processed by that provider to run the demo. You do not need to give your name to try a demo. Please do not share sensitive personal information in one.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record standard technical details with each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and the date and time. We use these records to run the Sites, keep them secure, and fix problems.
Information stored in your browser. The Sites remember your light or dark theme and your animation preference in your browser's local storage. That information stays on your device and is not sent to us. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers on the Sites. Third-party services embedded or linked on the Sites, such as Calendly and our demo provider, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Business contact information. We may collect business contact details, such as a business name, phone number, email address and location, from public sources like business directories and company websites, so we can contact businesses about our services.
3. How we use information
- To answer your questions and hold the calls you book.
- To run demos and show how our tools would work for your business.
- To provide, support and bill for services you buy from us.
- To contact businesses about our services, with a way to opt out every time.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Sites.
- To comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Calls, texts and emails
If we contact you by phone, text message or email about our services, we identify ourselves and tell you how to stop hearing from us. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, telling us on a call, or writing to team@kadeai.net. We act on opt-outs within the time the law requires. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply to texts.
5. Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, scheduling (Calendly), our demo provider, email, telephony and messaging. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect safety, prevent fraud, or defend legal claims.
- A buyer or successor, if Kade is involved in a merger, sale, financing or reorganization. Your information would stay subject to this policy.
6. When we act for our clients
When we build or run tools for a client business, such as a virtual receptionist that answers that business's calls or a system that manages its customer records, we handle that business's customer information on the client's behalf and under its instructions. In that case the client's own privacy policy applies, and the client is responsible for having the right to collect and share that information. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please send privacy requests to that business. We will help them respond.
7. Where information is stored
We and our service providers may store and process information outside your province, state or country, including in Canada, the United States and the European Union. When it is held in another country, it is subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or longer when the law requires it, for example for tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for the type of information we hold, including encrypted connections to the Sites and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to withdraw your consent, or to object to or limit how we use it. To make a request, email team@kadeai.net. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will answer within the time the law allows. Some requests have legal limits, for example where we must keep records. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
11. Children
The Sites are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other sites
The Sites link to other services, such as Calendly, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. We do not control them, and their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page. Continuing to use the Sites after an update means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact
Email Kade at team@kadeai.net.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Kade ("we", "us" or "our") for your use of kadeai.net and every page under it (the "Sites"). By using the Sites, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites. If you use the Sites for a business, you agree on behalf of that business and confirm that you have the authority to do so.
Any services you buy from us are governed by a separate written agreement, proposal or order. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement wins.
2. Who may use the Sites
You must be at least the age of majority where you live to use the Sites.
3. Information on the Sites is not advice or a promise
Everything on the Sites is general information about our business. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Calculators, estimates, examples and sample figures are illustrations based on assumptions, not predictions or guarantees. Demos show how a tool can work. They may make mistakes and may differ from a tool set up for your business. We do not promise any particular result, such as more calls answered, more bookings or more revenue.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Sites or demos for anything unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or misleading;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Sites, our systems, or anyone else's data;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Sites, or introduce malware;
- copy, scrape or harvest the Sites or their content by automated means without our written permission;
- reverse engineer any part of the Sites, except where the law expressly allows it;
- impersonate anyone, or give us personal information about someone else without the right to do so.
We may restrict or end your access to the Sites at any time if we believe you have broken these terms.
5. Our content
The Sites and their content, including text, design, graphics, video, logos and code, belong to Kade or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to view the Sites to learn about our services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reuse our content without our written permission. "Kade" and our logos are our trademarks.
6. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
The Sites link to or embed services run by others, such as Calendly, our demo provider, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. We are not responsible for those services, their content, or how they handle your information. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sites, demos and all content on them are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kade and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Sites or these terms, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Sites or these terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some places do not allow certain warranties or liabilities to be excluded or limited. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Kade and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Sites or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes to the Sites and these terms
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Sites at any time without notice. We may also update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Sites after an update means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts of the Province of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to the Sites or these terms, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before starting any legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at team@kadeai.net and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter informally.
13. General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Kade about the Sites. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Headings are for convenience only.
